Spirituality nowadays has become a part of our daily lives. Attending Satsang and spiritual lectures is a rising trend. To attain completeness people are indulging in spiritual activities and join spiritual groups. Many spiritual organizations are proliferating nowadays that conduct kirtans and spiritual talks. We take part in such programs to take gain some knowledge and insight and grow higher in our spiritual journey. But merely attending spiritual programs cannot make one truly spiritual. The spiritual way of life demands the adoption of the path of righteousness and truth. Otherwise, the very purpose of our human existence will be defeated.
Spirituality allows us to introspect and gain self-realization and helps us to believe in ourselves and God. Spirituality can only thrive when there is purity and goodness. Where there is evilness, malice, bad motive, or conspiracy spirituality cannot be nurtured. There is no meaning in chanting the name of God with impurity. God shall bless us and give us strength when we worship with a clean heart and soul.
Our scriptures teach us to follow the path of Dharma. Adharma leads to destruction and chaos. But today we live in Kaliyuga where is adharma all over. People have lost their conscience and soul. They commit any sin to fulfil their selfish motive. In the such a barbaric world, humanity is at stake. Humanity can only be saved when we protect Dharma
We can only be spiritually awakened when we walk on the path of Dharma and cultivate love, kindness, empathy, and brotherhood.
